BAD Tri training information:

BADTri members benefit from weekly training sessions run by our own coaches, and also one-off events by experienced and well known outside coaches. Members are welcome to just turn up at any session; however, the swim sessions and the spin sessions require advance booking. See the swim and bike training pages for more information.
Our aim is to make every training session suitable for all levels of ability. You will general find at least 3 different speed/distance groups at each session.

Swim sessions (more details):

  • Mon* Coached session @ 8-9pm - Horfield pool (Summer only)
  • Tue Non-coached (but structured) session @ 6.30-7.45am - Bristol University pool
  • Wed* Coached session @ 8.15-9.15pm - Badminton School
  • Fri Non-coached (but structured) session @ 6.30-7.45am - Bristol University pool
  • Sun* Open water swim @ 9.45am (10am in the water) - Henleaze Lake (Summer only)

Bike sessions (more details):

  • Tue* Spin Session @ 7.30pm - Welshback Gym (Winter only)
  • Tue* Turbo Session @ 7.30pm - Welshback Gym (Winter only)
  • Sat Club ride @ 9.00am - The Pump House, Hotwells

Run sessions (more details):

  • Thur Coached session @ 7pm - The Pump House, Hotwells.
  • Sun Informal off-road session @ 9.30am - The Pump House, Hotwells (Winter Only).
