Quelle Challenge Barcelona - Now make it real!

Been thinking about the Barcelona Ironman or Relay? Now’s the time to make it real! As you may be aware, we have negotiated an extra 10% discount in addition to the reduced early entry fee - for Bad Tri members only. If you enter through BAD Tri, this means that the race entry will cost you £220 (per individual) or £330 (per relay team).

These are the important details:

You need to buy your entry via the Bad Tri Shop (on our website)

You need to do this by 15 September.

We have agreed with the race organisers to submit (1) a spreadsheet containing all the details necessary to enter all Bad Tri participants, and (2) one lump sum to cover all the race entry fees. Doing it this way saves them time and enables us to get you the discount (you can’t get it if you enter via their own website as it is a fixed sum).

When you enter the race on the Bad Tri website (via the Shop), please ensure you:
(1) Fill in and email the spreadsheet details back to coaching@badtri.org once you have paid (ensuring you have all the relevant details for the rest of your relay team if you are entering on behalf of a team)
(2) State in the body of the email (not the spreadsheet) how many people are likely to accompany you/your team on the trip
(3) Do this by 15 September.

Undertaking step (2) above will enable us to reserve appropriate accommodation so we can stay together, as we can get in there early with specific numbers. (If we do this, we are likely to be able to get accommodation which is very near the race start, the beach and a 50m pool!)

So, you have a few weeks to sort out your relay teams, your permissions and your aspirations for 2009. Go do!
